Each innovative issue features new works from both emerging & established artists, with a specific focus on positioning interdisciplinary talent within an expansive international context. From cover to cover, we act as an venue for global & Canadian creators interested in exploring the page, a place for creative cross-pollinations between textual & visual content. Carousel's exceptional design strategy has resulted in an increasingly well-received presence on the newsstands of late, and the magazine was recently honoured with an Honorable Mention for "Best Art Direction for an Entire Issue in 2004" by The National Magazine Awards Foundation!
