Gearhead Magazine

Gearhead is the original hot rod lifestyle magazine. Debuting in 1993, it was the first magazine to successfully combine cars, music and art, several years before Juztapoz debuted, and fully a decade before Old School Rodz, etc. Many members of the staff have written books (Hot Rod Kings, The Hot Rod World of Robert Williams, etc.) fronted popular bands (New Bomb Turks, Riverboat Gamblers) and are generally considered the true voice of "Kustom Kulture" despite it's somewhat underground status. Gearhead is also unique in that it has always been considered a collectable, dating back to the first 10 issues when it came with 45 RPM records.
